Location: Ferndown and Verwood
Pay rate: £13.15 per hour + £2.00 hour Bank Holiday enhancement rate
Paid travel time: £12.21 per hour + 40p per mile mileage allowance
Hours: Part Time, to include every other weekend working
Shift: 7.00 to 14.00 or 16:00 to 22:00
The home care team provides services & support including companionship, household tasks, personal care, grocery shopping, picking up prescriptions & meal preparation.
What You Will Do
- Identifying the needs and abilities of our clients and providing personal care and encouragement to them
- Assisting with medication, meal preparation and domestic services
- Supporting with personal care & washing & dressing
- Supporting with community visits (shopping and leisure trips)
- Regular communications with the office support team
- Reflect our HEART values in your day-to-day work
Qualifications / Requirements
- You will be required to hold a UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle as you will be providing care to people within their own homes.
- Previous care experience is not essential for our “Care at Home Support Assistant Team”. You may be in a customer care role or have helped in your community.
- A full induction and training programme will be provided to support you.
