Role: Home Care Assistant

Location: Various Locations including Crewkerne, Yeovil, Martock, Chard and Ilminster

Pay: £13.50 per hour PLUS travel time and petrol expenses

Hours: Bank Hours (Hours worked as required by the service, with no guaranteed hours. Applicants should be willing to work weekends as required)

Shift Pattern: 07:00 - 14:00 and/or 16:00 - 22:00

This Home Care Assistants role is community based; it is essential applicants hold a driving licence and have access to a vehicle. As a Home Care Assistant with Care South, we ensure you are paid for not just your contact time but also your travel time. On top of this, we pay a generous mileage rate of 40p per mile.

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • You will hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake one.
