We have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Human Resources professional with a passion to deliver a high‐quality HR service across our portfolio. You will be joining a not‐for‐profit charity and leading provider of residential care and Care at Home services. Reporting to the Director HR and Training, you will be working with the wider Operations and HR teams to achieve business and department objectives.
Main areas of responsibility:
- Coaching and guiding managers and providing subject matter expertise on all people matters, organisational change and policy interpretation.
- Proactively driving plans to improve performance, capability and talent across the organisation.
- Managing employee relations and performance management case load.
- Supporting the Director of HR in the driving of reward and recognition programmes.
- Design and delivery of HR skills to management teams.
- Policy & Procedure review and amendment.
- Ability to provide and use people analytics.
- Building and maintaining relationships with external organisations, and ensuring that Care South is regularly represented at attraction and promotional events as needed.
- Supporting the Director of HR and Training in people initiatives and undertaking other duties and responsibilities as reasonably required.
About you:
- MCIPD / FCIPD qualified.
- A generalist with experience in the care sector or other multi sited 24/7 environment.
- Thorough knowledge of employment law and how to apply it in a practical, solution‐focused way.
- Commercial and inclusive.
- Excellent knowledge of HR processes.
- Excellent communication & influencing skills, and ability to build strong relationships.
- Being a role model, and ambassador for our HEART values.
- Can work effectively as part of a team.
- Tactful, diplomatic and confidential.
- Ability to deal with multiple priorities and to work to deadlines.
