About The Role

Join Our Caring Community at Marjorie House!

Location: Marjorie House, Crichel Mount Road, BH14 9EW

Pay: £13.26 per hour

Hours: 40 hours per week (to include alternative weekends)

Come and join our team at Marjorie House, our state of the art residential care home situated on Crichel Mount, just by Evening Hill, with stunning views over Poole Harbour. You’ll be able to support our residents in a safe and caring environment where they can live their lives as if in the comfort of their own home.

What you will be doing:

  • Supervision of small admin team
  • First point of contact reception duties – dealing with both calls and visitors to the home, including family members and external medical professionals
  • Dealing with external suppliers regarding quotes, deliveries and invoices/statements.
  • Providing invoices for payment to our Head Office finance team
  • Process monthly in-house payroll
  • Support the Home Manager with recruitment admin – ensuring correct candidate documents are obtained, references are sought and DBS checks are submitted

Who we are looking for:

  • Current experience in an administration role
  • Computer literate including Microsoft Office – Word & Excel
  • Well organised and with the ability to prioritise.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
