Role: Home Care Assistant
Location: Ferndown and Verwood
Pay rate: £13.70 per hour, plus a £2.00 per hour Bank Holiday enhancement rate
Travel: Travel time paid at £12.71 per hour, plus 40p per mile mileage allowance
Hours: Full & Part Time
Shift: 07:00 to 14:00 & 16:00 to 22:00
Care South, a leading not for profit charity, have exciting opportunities for Home Care Assistants to join our Bournemouth Care at Home team, supporting clients with a variety of needs in their own homes. This Home Care Assistant role is community based; it is essential applicants hold a driving licence and have access to a vehicle. As a Home Care Assistant with Care South, we ensure you are paid not just your contact time, but also for your travel time. On top of this, we pay a generous mileage rate of 40p per mile.

About You:
- Previous experience in a care setting is desirable but not required.
- You will have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Flexible in the hours you can work and ability to work every other weekend.
- Strong attention to detail and reporting skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- You will hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake one.
What You Need to Know:
- You must be 18 years or older.
