Activities Assistant
Location: Fairlawn, St Mary's Road, Ferndown, BH22 9HB
Pay: £12.85 per hour
Hours: 24 hours per week, including alternate weekends
About The Role
Plan and deliver an ongoing programme of social activities for residents, including those living with dementia.
Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of a varied and engaging programme of social and therapeutic activities tailored to residents’ interests and needs
- Help plan and run a calendar of events that promotes wellbeing, connection, and enjoyment
- Observe and respond to residents’ changing needs, raising any concerns with the care team as appropriate
- Assist during mealtimes to create a calm, sociable, and enjoyable dining experience
- Encourage and support residents to maintain independence and participate actively in daily life
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
