Join Our Caring Community at St Ives House!
Location: St Ives House, Ashley Heath, BH24 2EE
Pay: £12.85 per hour
Hours: Full-time and part-time hours available, to include alternate weekend working.
Shift Patterns Available: We offer flexible shift patterns, with working hours typically between 7:30am and 5:30pm. Exact start and finish times will be discussed and agreed with the Home Manager to support the needs of the home while taking your availability into consideration.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Housekeeper to join the team at St Ives House, our stunning purpose-built residential and dementia care home situated near Ringwood.
What you will be doing:
- Ensuring our home is kept clean, safe and comfortable throughout for our residents.
- Supporting with the cleaning of communal areas and residents' own rooms.
- Providing some support to the laundry team to include washing, drying and ironing of residents' clothing.
- Complying with all policies and procedures, including COSHH regulations, with regard to cleaning products and use of chemicals.
- Working as a team player to create and maintain a co-operative, friendly and welcoming atmosphere within the home.
Who are we looking for:
- Previous experience within a care home setting is not essential – but we want you to come in and enjoy housekeeping!
- A real desire to create a fresh and welcoming environment for residents, staff and visitors to enjoy.
- Flexible in the hours that you work and happy to join in as part of a larger housekeeping team.
