About The Role
Kitchen Assistant
Pay rate: £12.30 per hour
We have an exciting opportunity for a Kitchen Assistant to join the team atElizabeth House,our specialist residential and dementia care home, which overlooks the picturesqueCanford HeathNature Reserve inPoole, Dorset.
Who are we looking for:
Previous experience within a kitchen environment is ideal – either way be prepared to be busy in a fast-paced role!
Caring individual with the ability to serve meals and support our residents during mealtimes.
Flexible in the hours that you work and happy to join in as part of our larger kitchen team.

What you will be doing:
- Support the Chef team with the basic preparation of fresh and nutritious meals, snacks & drinks for our residents
- Serve meals from the kitchen to our residents within the dining room area
- Assist with supporting residents with an enjoyable dining experience every day
- Ensuring kitchen and dining room areas are kept hygienic and clean
- Support with washing all cooking appliances and crockery – sanitising all food preparation areas
