About The Role
Location: Bournemouth & Poole District
Pay rate: £13.15 per hour + £2.00 per hour Bank Holiday enhancement rate
Travel: Paid Travel Time £12.21 per hour + 40p per mile mileage allowance
Hours: Full Time, Part Time and Bank Available
Care South at Home have an exciting opportunity for Home Care & Support Assistants to join the Care South at Home Bournemouth & Poole District Team. The home care team provide services & support including companionship, household tasks, personal care, grocery shopping, picking up prescriptions & meal preparation.
You will be required to hold a full UK driving licence & access to transport, as you will be visiting clients in their own homes.
Join the Team: Care at Home Bournemouth are keen to meet people with a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients, allowing them to stay at home in the community they love. You'll need to be naturally compassionate and understanding of others. Previous care experience is not essential for our Care at Home Support Assistant Team. You may be in a customer care role or have helped in your community. A full induction and training programme will be provided to support you.
What you will do:
- Identifying the needs and abilities of our clients and providing personal care and encouragement to them
- Assisting with medication, meal preparation and domestic services
- Supporting with personal care & washing & dressing
- Supporting with community visits (shopping and leisure trips)
- Regular communications with the office support team
