About The Role:
Care South, a leading not for profit charity, have exciting opportunities for Home Care Assistants to join our Bournemouth Care at Home team, supporting clients with a variety of needs in their own homes. This Home Care Assistant role is community based, and it is essential applicants hold a driving licence and have access to a vehicle. As a Home Care Assistant with Care South, we ensure you are paid not just your contact time, but also for your travel time. On top of this we pay a generous mileage rate of 40p per mile.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Ongoing training and development
- Support from a friendly, experienced team and colleagues
- Delivering person-centred care that truly makes a difference
- Providing high-quality support to enable individuals to remain independent
- Support our clients to build confidence and remain independent
- Responsible for the needs of clients and ensuring their dignity
- Help with personal care such as personal hygiene, toileting, and dressing
About You:
- Previous experience in a care setting is desirable but not required
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Flexible in the hours you can work and ability to work every other weekend
- Strong attention to detail and reporting skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or prepared to undertake one
