About The Role
Community Care & Support Assistant Team Location: Poole
Pay rate: £13.70 per hour + £2.00 per hour Bank Holiday enhancement rate
Travel: Paid Travel Time £12.71 per hour + 40p per mile mileage allowance
Hours: Part Time, to include every other weekend working
Shift: 7.00 to 14.00
The home care team provide services & support including companionship, household tasks, personal care, grocery shopping, picking up prescriptions & meal preparation. You will be required to hold a UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle as you will be providing care to people within their own homes.

You'll need to be naturally compassionate and understanding of others. Previous care experience is not essential for our "Care at Home Support Assistant Team". You may be in a customer care role or have helped in your community. A full induction and training programme will be provided to support you.
What you will do
- This community-based Home Care & Support Assistant role will be supporting clients with a variety of needs within their own homes, this can include:
- Identifying the needs and abilities of our clients and providing personal care and encouragement to them
- Assisting with medication, meal preparation and domestic services
- Supporting with personal care & washing & dressing
- Supporting with community visits (shopping and leisure trips)
- Regular communications with the office support team
- Reflect our HEART values in your day-to-day work
