About The Role
Location: Ferndown and Verwood
Pay rate: Up to £13.70 per hour + £2.00 per hour Bank Holiday enhancement rate
Travel: Paid Travel Time £12.71 per hour + 40p per mile mileage allowance
Hours: Full & Part Time, to include every other weekend working
Shift: 07:00 to 14:00 and 16:00 to 22:00
The home care team provide services & support including companionship, household tasks, personal care, grocery shopping, picking up prescriptions & meal preparation.
You will be required to hold a UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle as you will be providing care to people within their own homes.

You may be in a customer care role or have helped in your community. A full induction and training programme will be provided to support you.
What you will do
This community-based Home Care & Support Assistant role will be supporting clients with a variety of needs within their own homes, this can include:
- Identifying the needs and abilities of our clients and providing personal care and encouragement to them
- Assisting with medication, meal preparation and domestic services
- Supporting with personal care & washing & dressing
- Supporting with community visits (shopping and leisure trips)
- Regular communications with the office support team
