About the Role

Care Sante Kent is recruiting a Care Assistant for our extra care scheme at King Edward Court in Herne Bay. King Edward Court is a supported living scheme where our Care Workers provide life‑changing care and support that enables vulnerable adults of all ages to live fulfilling lives.

Working Hours

Week 1: Saturday 7am to 2pm, Sunday 7am to 2pm
Week 2: Saturday 7am to 2pm, Sunday 7am to 2pm

Responsibilities

  • Supporting service users with onsite visits to our restaurant, hairdressers and shops.
  • Domestic tasks such as making and changing beds, light cleaning, laundry and emptying commodes.
  • Help with eating and drinking by preparing meals, snacks and drinks.
  • Help service users overcome mobility problems and other physical disabilities, including use and care of aids and personal equipment.
  • Support with administering medication.
  • Assist service users with personal care such as washing, bathing and toilet arrangements.
  • Contribute as needed to a person’s end‑of‑life care.

Requirements

Right to work within the UK. No previous experience necessary, but you must demonstrate compassion, excellent communication, problem solving, and commitment to delivering high-quality, respectful care.
