Valley Care By Care Sante are looking for 2 local community care workers to join our care teams in the area of Shirebrook.

Working Shifts

  • Mornings 7am – 3pm
  • Evenings 4pm – 10pm
  • Alternative weekends

Job Description

  • Assist service users with personal care such as washing, bathing and toilet arrangements.
  • Help service users overcome mobility problems and other physical disabilities, including the use and care of aids and personal equipment.
  • Perform domestic tasks such as making and changing beds, tidying rooms, light cleaning, laundry and emptying commodes.
  • Help with eating and drinking by preparing meals, snacks and drinks.
  • Support with administering medication.
  • Contribute as needed to a person’s end‑of‑life care.

Requirements

  • Have the right to work within the UK.
  • A driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred for this role.
  • No previous experience is necessary but you will need to demonstrate real compassion, be an excellent communicator and problem solver, and be committed to delivering high‑quality, respectful care.
