Valley Care, West Yorkshire is seeking Community Care Workers to join our care teams in the following areas:

  • Wakefield centre
  • Hemsworth
  • Knottingley
  • Castleford
  • Pontefract
  • Ferry Bridge
  • Airdale
  • Surrounding areas

Benefits:

Working Shifts:

  • Mornings: 7:00 am – 3:00 pm
  • Evenings: 3:00 pm – 10:00 pm
  • Must be able to work alternative weekends
  • Must be able to work at least two evening shifts per week

Job Description:

  • Assist service users with personal care (washing, bathing, toilet arrangements)
  • Support service users in overcoming mobility problems and other physical disabilities, including use of aids and equipment
  • Perform domestic tasks: making and changing beds, tidying rooms, light cleaning, laundry, and emptying commodes
  • Assist with eating and drinking by preparing meals, snacks, and drinks
  • Support medication administration
  • Provide end‑of‑life care support as required

Requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Driving licence and reliable vehicle access required
  • No prior experience necessary, but you must show real compassion, excellent communication and problem‑solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high‑quality, respectful care

Position Type: Permanent – Full Time or Part Time.
