Care & Support Worker - Extra Care

Care Sante are recruiting for care workers to join our team based in our extra care scheme at Lew Evans.

You’ll provide life-changing care and support that enables vulnerable adults of all ages to live fulfilling lives.

We currently have 2x full time positions available, usual shift patterns would be:

• AM shifts 7am- 3pm
• PM shifts 3pm - 10pm

Job Description:

• Our care assistants are responsible for assisting service users with personal care such as washing, bathing and toilet arrangements.
• Helping service users overcome any mobility problems and other physical disabilities, including helping in the use and care of aids and personal equipment.
• Domestic tasks such as making and changing beds, tidying rooms, light cleaning, laundry and emptying commodes
• Help with eating and drinking by preparing meals, snacks and drinks
• Support with administrating medication.
• Assisting clients on social visits and access to shops.

Requirements:

• Have a right to work within the UK
• No previous experience is necessary, but you will need to demonstrate real compassion, be an excellent communicator and problem solver, and be committed to delivering high-quality, respectful care
