Location: Valley Care Direct are looking for 4 local Community Care Workers in Matlock.
Role Overview: You’ll provide life‑changing care and support that enables vulnerable adults of all ages to live fulfilling lives in their own homes.
Working Hours:
- Mornings 7am-3pm
- Evenings 4pm-10pm per week
- Alternative weekends
- Part‑time and full‑time available
Job Description:
- Assist service users with personal care such as washing, bathing and toilet arrangements.
- Help service users overcome mobility problems and other physical disabilities, including use and care of aids and personal equipment.
- Domestic tasks such as making and changing beds, tidying rooms, light cleaning, laundry and emptying commodes.
- Help with eating and drinking by preparing meals, snacks and drinks.
- Support with administering medication.
- Contribute as needed to a person’s end‑of‑life care.
Requirements:
- Right to work in the UK.
- A driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- No previous experience necessary, but must demonstrate compassion, excellent communication and problem‑solving skills, and commitment to delivering high‑quality, respectful care.
