Valley Care by Care Sante are looking for 1 Care and Support Worker to work full time waking sleep-in night shifts to join our care team in Long Eaton.
You will provide life-changing care and support that enables vulnerable adults of all ages to live fulfilling lives in their own homes. Our usual working shifts are: Sleep-in night shifts 10pm to 7am.
Job Description:
- Assist service users with personal care such as washing, bathing and toilet arrangements.
- Help service users overcome any mobility problems and other physical disabilities, including helping in the use and care of aids and personal equipment.
- Domestic tasks such as making and changing beds, tidying rooms, light cleaning, laundry and emptying commodes.
- Help with eating and drinking by preparing meals, snacks and drinks.
- Support with administering medication.
- Contribute as needed to a person’s end-of-life care.
Requirements:
- Have a right to work within the UK.
- No previous experience is necessary but you will need to demonstrate real compassion, be an excellent communicator and problem solver, and be committed to delivering high-quality, respectful care.
