We are looking for an organised, proactive and customer-focused Project Assistant to join our Practical Services team. In this varied role, you will provide effective administrative and project support, helping to coordinate services that make a real difference to older and disabled people across Merthyr Tydfil and Rhondda Cynon Taf.

You will manage referrals, maintain accurate records, support project and budget monitoring, coordinate appointments and liaise with clients, contractors and partner organisations. You’ll need excellent organisational and communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage a busy workload while delivering a high standard of customer service.

About the role

  • To provide an efficient and effective administrative service to the Agency.
  • To be responsible for projects assigned to you in the agency ensuring budgets are monitored and data is recorded efficiently and accurately.
  • To establish and maintain appropriate office and record keeping procedures, having regard to the information requirements of the Agency, Care & Repair Cymru and the Welsh Government.
  • To contribute towards promoting and expanding the activities of the Agency in accordance with their aims and objectives, and in accordance with equal opportunities policy and practice.
