About the role
Care & Repair Home Improvement Services Ltd (the ‘Care & Repair Group’) exist to support older people living in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan to repair, adapt and maintain their homes to enable them to live as independently as possible with increased safety, security, warmth and comfort. The purpose of the role is to support the Care & Repair Group in the delivery of their works.
In summary, the successful candidate will:
- Provide high quality technical advice
- Support compliance with all relevant Building, Construction Design Management (CDM) 2015 and Health & Safety Regulations
- Give appropriate leadership, supervision and support to staff
- Work as part of the management team
The role will involve working from the Care & Repair Group’s office in Cardiff as well as various site visits across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan.
