Grade A: £55,172 (National Framework) or £61,028 (London Framework if you are London office based or homebased and live within the boundary of the M25). For exceptional candidates, a higher salary may be available. There is also an additional homeworking allowance of £600 per annum for those working from home.

- As an Applications Development Manager in Technology, you might get the chance to lead the design and delivery of automated, scalable application services that meet user needs.
- Manage and develop a high-performing software engineering team, driving best practice and innovation across CQC.
- Manage and mentor a team of senior engineers and suppliers to deliver secure, reliable, and efficient services.
- Oversee the design, development, and testing of applications, ensuring compliance with standards and best practice.
- Managing and mentoring software engineering teams in an agile environment, driving best practice and continuous improvement.
- Practical experience with DevOps tools and techniques, CI/CD pipelines, and modern application development using .NET, D365, Power Platform, and Azure services.
- Designing, building, and maintaining secure, scalable applications, including experience with modern web frameworks such as React or Angular.
