Grade A: £55,172 (National Framework) or £61,028 (London Framework if you are London office based or homebased and live within the boundary of the M25). For exceptional candidates, a higher salary may be available. There is also an additional homeworking allowance of £600 per annum for those working from home.

The role: You’ll play an important part in delivering our mission. In this role, you’ll:
- Lead software engineering capability: Manage and mentor a team of senior engineers and suppliers to deliver secure, reliable, and efficient services.
- Drive technical excellence: Oversee the design, development, and testing of applications, ensuring compliance with standards and best practice.
- Collaborate for success: Work closely with stakeholders to align solutions with business needs and user requirements.
Show us: We will be looking for specific skills, knowledge and experience in your application form:
- Proven leadership experience: Managing and mentoring software engineering teams in an agile environment, driving best practice and continuous improvement.
- Technical expertise: Practical experience with DevOps tools and techniques, CI/CD pipelines, and modern application development using .NET, D365, Power Platform, and Azure services.
- Delivery track record: Designing, building, and maintaining secure, scalable applications, including experience with modern web frameworks such as React or Angular.
