The FinanceOfficer at HTA provides a key services to support the organisations financefunction. You will be hard working and have good attention to detail and beable to work well as part of a high performing team. What you will bring… You will be experienced in MS Excel, have an interest in finance transactional work and have the confidence to work independently to complete tasks assigned by the Finance Manager. We also offer membership of the NHS pension scheme. As this role is homebased we ensure our Homeworkers are also kitted out with everything they need to comfortably work from home. Remote working option*Standard contracts available are homeworking (an average of 3 days in the office each month) or office-based (minimum of 1 day a week in the office). Essential Criteria: Proficiency in MS Excel Knowledge of accountancysoftware (MS Great Plains) an advantage Previous experience in purchaseledger work and/or transactional finance work is essential. Able to deliver and complete task within deadlines and to a high standard. An ability to work as part of small team and experience of working within a team environment.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the post holderwill accurately record and process of all purchase ledger invoices and employeeexpenses.
The variety of task undertaken within the role willinclude, however not limited to; preparing all purchase ledger items forpayment on a weekly basis, reconciling all purchase ledger accounts and dealingwith queries and managing all purchase ledger purchase orders, matching toinvoices and investigating all discrepancies and dealing with queries.
You will have knowledge and experience of using accountancy software.(MS Great Plains would be desirable and advantageous)
You will have excellent communications skills and be comfortable dealing with debtor management tasks.
Flexibility and a willingness to assist with a variety tasks.
