The predicted salary is between 42700 - 49300 £ per year.
Grade A – : £52,737 (National) or £58,409 (London – for London office based or home-based workers within the boundary of the M25) – There is also an additional homeworking allowance of £581 per annum for those working from home.
Contracted Hours: Full time 37 hours per week. Compressed hours will also be considered (minimumof 4 days per week)

At CQC as a GovernanceManager in the Finance, Commercial & Workplace directorate,you might get the chance to:
- Lead on governance evaluations across the Board and Executive Committees to improve governance process and practice.
- Design and embed a refreshed governance structure that improves how decisions are made across the organisation.
The role
You\’ll be key in helping usdeliver our work. In this role, you\’ll:
- Develop and maintain governance tools: Create and update key documents like the corporate governance framework, scheme of delegation, and standing financial instructions.
- Support strategic oversight: Help design and implement governance structures that clarify roles, responsibilities, and decision-making processes across CQC.
- Lead and manage teams: Oversee the Governance and Secretariat functions, supporting colleagues to deliver high-quality work that supports the wider organisation.
