Community Health Services Inspector - Core Community Team

Grade B - £42,044 (National Framework) or £47,900 (London Framework - if you are London office based or homebased and live within the boundary of the M25). There is also an additional homeworking allowance of £600 per annum for those working from home. Please note for part time roles – this will be pro rata.

Contracted Hours: Full time 37 hours per week. Part time/compressed hours will be considered.

Location: Homebased - Roles available in South, Central and North Regions.

Contract Type: Permanent.

Opportunity for Primary & Community Care Inspectors to Join the Community Health Services Inspection Team. We are seeking applications from experienced Inspectors who are passionate about improving care and outcomes within community health services. As part of our commitment to strengthening our Community Health inspection capability, we are looking to recruit to a dedicated core team of Community Health Inspectors. The team will be spread across the North, Central and South regions.

About the Role:

• Lead and undertake specialist Community Health inspection activity.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across regions, sharing learning, expertise and best practice.
• Support the delivery of consistent, high-quality inspection and assessment activity.
• Use professional knowledge and experience to identify opportunities for improvement and promote positive outcomes for people using services.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of Community Health inspection methodology and approaches.

We’ll be looking for the following skills, knowledge and experience in your application form:

• Significant experience and expertise in PCC services, with specific expertise in Community Health Services for Adults, Children and End Life Care.
• Experience assessing quality or safety in health or social care settings, ideally within primary care or community services, or in other roles where you reviewed practice and supported improvement.
• Ability to use insight to drive decisions: You’ve used data or evidence to inform actions, solve problems, or improve quality.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills: You’ve worked with a range of stakeholders – internally and externally – to influence outcomes and build effective partnerships.
