The Urgent Care Teams are a 24/7 service providing first point of contact, comprehensive triage service, telephone and face to face clinical assessment to patients and/or their carers/relatives, enabling a safe and appropriate clinical decision and plan of care. The Urgent Care teams, including the Clinical Assessment Service, Community Urgent Care Team and Crisis Support Team, are responsible for health and social care triage including supporting prevention of hospital admission and/or early hospital discharge through assessment and treatment of individuals in crisis, assessing complex and specialist needs to develop, implement and evaluate programmes of care. The Urgent Care Teams also support individuals to remain in community settings in their own home environments during periods of crisis and treatment.
Main duties of the job:
- Provide a comprehensive administrative service to the Urgent Care Sector supporting team members, managers, senior managers and executives by performing a variety of administrative tasks.
- Work independently, prioritising work as necessary and without direct supervision on routine matters.
- Undertake an important role in the delivery of performance monitoring within CUCT whilst continually developing and utilising new systems to further streamline, modernise and improve the service.
- Manage office operations, scheduling appointments, planning meetings, and providing general assistance in a fast-paced environment.

Experience:
- At least 1 year’s recent (6-12 months) administrative experience at senior level.
- Supervision of staff.
- Experience of dealing with day-to-day staffing issues.
- Budget monitoring.
- Dealing with complaints.
- Experience of preparing agendas, organising and attending meetings and taking complex minutes.
- Complex rota management.
- Experience of working within a multi-functional office environment.
- Accurate manipulation of complex data/data management.
- Experience of Recruitment and selection process.
- Experience of working within a health and care setting.
- Experience of cross agency working.
Qualifications:
- NVQ 3 in business administration or equivalent.
- Level 3 Computer application qualification or equivalent competency.
- Literacy and Numeracy level 2.
- HNC in Business.
