Community Inpatient Unit providesRehabilitation, Re-ablement and recovery interventions for adults in North EastLincolnshire. The service will promote faster recovery from illness, preventunnecessary acute hospital admissions and premature admissions to long-termcare, support timely discharge from hospital and maximise independent livingwherever possible. Multi-professional staff will collaborate with individualsto ensure they achieve their full potential in terms of their level ofindependence, health, and wellbeing.

Salary Range 2 £22,627 (under 21) – £24,735 (21 and over)
We are looking for a cook to join areestablished Kitchen team based at Community inpatient unit. The post holderwill work independently to provide, nutritional, palatable and well-balancedmeals following an agreed menu ensuring Food Hygiene and Infection Controlregulations are adhered to.
The post holder will provide supervisionand direction to catering assistants in the safe running of the kitchen duringeach shift.
Duties will include planning of menus tomake choices available, taking into account any special dietary requirements;ordering and safe storage of stock and stock rotation. Youwill also be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of all utensils,equipment, work surfaces and kitchen areas at all times and in compliance withthe Safer Food Better Business Food Management System.
You must hold a Food Hygiene Certificate and a Level 2 ProductionChef / equivalent or willingness to undertake. Youwill have experience of providing catering services in a similar setting and ofmenu planning and portion control.
You must be able to work flexibly as part of a rota includingworking weekends and bank holidays.
