Please note that Care Plus Group are not currently registered to sponsor applicants from outside the EU and EEA. We are a bed based Rehabilitation, Re-enablement and Recovery unit located in Grimsby. Our multi-disciplinary service consists of Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, and Care staff who all work collaboratively to prevent unnecessary and lengthy stays in hospital or admission into long term care, wherever possible. We provide a range of therapies and support to assist people in their recovery and regain their independence, enabling them to return to their own homes safely and with any additional support in place. This could be following a period of illness, trauma, surgery, or a significant health event. If you work well as part of a team and are motivated, we would welcome your application.
Main duties of the job:
- To assist the Cook to provide nutritional, palatable and well-balanced meals for patients.
- The postholder will work under the direction of the Cook at all times.
- They will carry out all duties in a safe manner having regard to the health and safety of self, colleagues, service users and visitors to Community Inpatient Unit.
- They will also ensure that the environment meets the expectations and standards of the Care Plus Group and CQC paying particular attention to infection control and food hygiene requirements.
