Care Support Worker

As a healthcare assistant, you will provide personal care, build relationships, and make a big difference for the vulnerable and elderly in our Extra Care Schemes at Highdown Court and Elizabeth House, BN13, Durrington, Worthing.

Shift Options

  • 07:00 to 14:00
  • 14:00 to 22:00
  • 22:00 to 07:00
  • Every other Saturday and Sunday (part‑time)

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care such as washing, toileting, dressing, and related activities.

Perform light housekeeping tasks.

Observe, monitor, and keep records of client well‑being.

Qualifications & Expectations

  • Caring, reliable, patient, and compassionate
  • 100% commitment to improving quality of life for vulnerable people
  • Authorised to work in the UK (no sponsorship provided)
  • No experience necessary – full training will be provided
  • Full support from the start to ensure competence and confidence in delivering outstanding care
  • Section 7(2b) of the Sex Discrimination Act 1975 applies; genuine occupational requirement for female staff at present
