Intellectual Disability Support Worker: Caring for adults with intellectual disabilities and challenging behaviour

Location: Basingstoke, Hampshire

Remote Work: No. Reliable commute or plan to relocate before starting work.

Role Overview:

As a Support Worker, you will provide quality care and enriching life experiences for adults with intellectual disabilities and challenging behaviour. You\’ll assist with daily activities such as shopping, cooking, and community outings like swimming, bowling, gym visits, and cinema trips. You will also empower service users to participate in maintaining their homes.

We work closely with our skilled in-house clinical team to offer practical assistance, advice, encouragement, and support to help our service users develop skills and work towards maximising independence.

Training : Full in-house training and support for professional qualifications (NVQ, Diplomas, CPD).

Salary: Starting at £12.25 per hour + generous loyalty banding system

Overtime: Additional pay for overtime and sleep-ins, which can enhance earnings by £5,000+ per year
