Job Summary Kent Hospital, one of several delivery networks for the Care New England Health System (CNE) is seeking a full time or per diem ICU Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our collaborative team in Warwick, Rhode Island. Kent Hospital is a 359-bed acute care facility and is the largest community hospital in Rhode Island. As an essential member of the team your primary responsibility will be managing of a caseload of critically ill complex patients in a critical care setting for the ICU unit (14 beds) or Step-Down Unit (10 beds) Position Highlights Join a team of 9 critical care advanced practitioners, while being supported by ICU attending physicians 100% clinical practice seeing an average of 15 patients per day with Inpatient management (Avg 3-4 patients) and consults (Avg 12 patients) including intubations, central lines, lumbar punctures, thoracentesis, arterial lines procedures, etc. 13 shifts per month - rotating days and nights 7am-7pm and 7pm to 7am or could be all 7pm-7am Per diem shifts available as well; must work a minimum of 2 shifts per month Competitive salary and robust benefit package that includes health insurance, CME, employer retirement match and malpractice insurance 1+ years of ICU experienced preferred Requirements Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
