The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

  • Explain financial requirements and insurance/third party payor hospitalization benefits to the patient or responsible party.
  • Interpret and provide information regarding patient’s copayment responsibilities and any applicable coinsurance, deductible, and lifetime maximums.
  • Collect patient liabilities.
  • Arrange and follow up on payment plans for patients.
  • Apply appropriate Community Benefit and Prompt Pay discounts as applicable.
  • Meet with patients who have exhausted Medicare benefits and evaluate for additional payment sources.
  • Meet with patients lacking proper benefits for behavioral health services and evaluate for additional payment sources.
  • Review long length of stay patients to ensure proper coverage.
  • Follow up on missing insurance/financial forms identified by the Registration team.
  • Complete Missed MSP questionnaire to finalize insurance billing bundle.

Special Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of insurance benefit experience required.
  • Epic experience preferred.
  • Health Insurance Navigator Certification preferred.

Schedule: 40/80 Full Time Days – Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm.

This job is a permanent replacement for a striking employee and is classified as a \’regular\’ employee under the National Labor Relations Act. Employment conditions are subject to hospital standards and policies.
