SEND Teaching Assistants in Oldham

We are looking to recruit SEND Teaching Assistants for a National client.

Requirments :

Clear DBS for Children and Adults on the update service

Two years\’ experience working within School setting for SEND support work.

Responsibilities

• Providing emotional, behaviouraland learning support tailored to individual SEND / SEMH needs either one-to-one or in small groups.
• Working closely with Senior SEND staff, SENCO, Parents / carers and external professionals to achieve positive learner outcomes.Assisting learners build emotional, social, creative and personal skills through structured activities and projects.
• Assist in planning and delivering Adult NEET, SEND / SEMH personal development training including EOTAS and EHCP related support whilst maintaining an inclusive environment and upholding Safeguarding, GDPR, equality and Health & Safety responsibilities.
• Monitoring learner progress and engage in ongoing CPD to meet changing SEND needs, as well as demonstrating empathy, professionalism, teamwork, adaptability, strong communication and flexibility to meet organisational needs.
• This may include occassional evening and weekend work
