On behalf of our client, we are looking for Business Support Officer posts within the Children Service Finance Team of our client's office. These posts would be office based between various locations.
The post holders will work closely with the various social care teams across the service to provide financial support for children and their families. Duties include:
- Updating CareFirst (computerised client record system) with details of financial packages and individual payments
- Assisting in the operation of Petty Cash and Suspense accounts
- Making payments and progressing the receipt of invoices
- Setting up and supporting financial meetings with budget holders and managers
