Private Duty Nurse RN and LPN Requirements:

  • Registered Nurses: No experience required - Accept applications from new grad RNs.
  • LPNs: Minimum 1 year of direct patient care experience preferred, but not necessarily required.
  • Active and in good standing RN or LPN license with the Arkansas State Board of Nursing.

Private Duty Nurse Responsibilities include, but not necessarily limited to:

  • Assessments
  • Administering medication
  • Feedings
  • Suctioning
  • Monitoring Vitals
  • Blood pressure
  • Charting (training provided)
  • Trach care (training provided)
  • Vent care (training provided)
  • Other total nursing care duties as assigned
