This role will lead the development of strategic, high value corporate partnerships that drive sustainable growth and real impact.
You'll shape and deliver our new corporate partnerships strategy, creating purposeful, win-win collaborations across ESG, brand, commercial and philanthropic opportunities.
Working closely with the Head of Partnerships & Philanthropy and teams across CARE, you'll identify innovative opportunities – from responsible supply chains to microfinance and humanitarian programmes – while managing and developing a high-performing team.
With strong leadership support and the autonomy to act, you'll play a key role in growing income, strengthening partnerships, and advancing CARE UK's mission.
About you
- An experienced corporate partnerships professional with a strong track record of securing significant new income (£1m+) and building high-value relationships.
- Strong commercial awareness, strategic thinking and experience developing compelling partnership proposals.
- Good understanding of corporate priorities across employee engagement, brand, ESG and commercial drivers.
- Excellent influencing, relationship-building and negotiation skills, including with senior stakeholders.
- Experience working across complex organisations and collaborating with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- A collaborative leader motivated by delivering impact through partnerships aligned with CARE's values.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the New Partnerships team to deliver income and impact in support of CARE's strategy.
- Develop and implement a corporate engagement strategy that secures six- and seven-figure partnerships.
- Contribute to organisational strategy as a senior lead within Partnerships & Philanthropy.
- Develop new corporate partnership offers, pipeline opportunities and innovative funding models.
- Business Development & Partnerships
- Build strong relationships with prospective corporate partners and key stakeholders.
- Lead and manage the new business pipeline, using data and insights to drive decision-making and forecasting.
- Develop compelling proposals and partnership opportunities in collaboration with colleagues across CARE.
- Support key partnership renewals and oversee the corporate prospecting process.
- People & Team Management
- Lead, develop and support a successful new partnerships team.
- Build strong internal relationships to maximise partnership opportunities.
- Work with programme and finance colleagues to develop high-quality proposals and budgets.
- Lead contract negotiations and ensure effective implementation of relevant policies and processes.
- Communications & Influencing
- Engage and influence senior business stakeholders to develop impactful partnerships.
- Work with Communications & Advocacy colleagues to raise CARE's profile among corporate audiences.
