Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to play a crucial role in the growth of CARE International UK’s brand through the implementation of a refreshed brand positioning and creative communications. We are seeking a Communications & Brand Manager to support the Head of Communications & Brand to develop our strategic communications priorities and work with colleagues across CIUK and our international confederation to implement them. You’ll help with creating organisational key messaging and positioning documents and write audience-focused messaging frameworks for key campaigns, ensuring all our messaging embodies our brand narrative and aligns with tone of voice. You’ll work with colleagues to bring to life powerful stories of change made by women and girls through CARE projects around the world, especially in times of crisis. Through compelling communications and strong brand management, you’ll help raise awareness, influence policymakers, and increase income in support of our mission.

About You

You know how to build brilliant cross-channel, integrated campaigns and nurture strong relationships with both internal teams and external partners to deliver them. You are used to working in a busy role with competing demands on your time, adept at prioritising impactful work and bringing your colleagues along with you. You’ll have plenty of experience in brand management and a natural flair for design and content, helping us to build our brand presence and increase our impact.

About CARE

CARE International is a leading humanitarian organisation fighting to end poverty in the world’s most challenging situations. Founded in 1945, CARE currently works in over 120 countries and last year alone reached 53.4 million people through nearly 1,500 projects.
