We are seeking an experienced and passionate CQC Registered Area Manager to lead and oversee our Supported Living services for adults with Mental Health needs and Learning Disabilities. About the Role

As the Area Manager, you will provide operational leadership across multiple supported living services, ensuring compliance with CQC standards while promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing for service users. You will work closely with Registered Managers, support teams, families, and external professionals to maintain safe, effective, and responsive services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple Supported Living services.
  • Ensure all services remain fully compliant with CQC regulations and company policies.
  • Support and supervise Registered Managers and staff teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement and maintain high-quality care standards.
  • Monitor staffing levels, rota management, recruitment, and staff development.
  • Manage service performance, audits, safeguarding, incidents, and action plans.
  • Maintain effective relationships with local authorities, commissioners, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure services promote person-centred support, independence, choice, and inclusion.
  • Contribute to business growth and development opportunities.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience as a CQC Registered Manager or Area Manager within Supported Living or Social Care.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • CQC regulations and compliance
    • Mental Health support
    • Learning Disabilities
    • Safeguarding and risk management
  • Proven leadership and team management experience.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple services effectively.
  • Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record and willingness to travel between services.

Desirable Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Experience working with Positive Behaviour Support (PBS).
  • Experience managing services with complex needs.
