The Role

As a Stores Operative/Van Driver, you’ll play a vital part in keeping our projects running smoothly. You’ll be responsible for managing warehouse stock and ensuring materials reach our site teams safely and on time. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving, checking, and securely storing incoming deliveries
  • Picking, packing, and dispatching materials accurately and efficiently
  • Maintaining accurate stock records and carrying out regular stock checks
  • Loading and unloading flooring materials, tools, and consumables
  • Delivering materials to site operatives across the UK
  • Collecting surplus materials from completed projects
  • Returning, checking, and updating inventories for all goods received
  • Supporting safe warehouse organisation and housekeeping
  • Collecting goods from suppliers when required
  • Completing portable appliance testing (PAT) of electrical equipment
  • Complying with all health and safety procedures at all times

About You

We’re looking for someone practical, dependable, and safety-focused who takes pride in their work. You will ideally have:

  • Previous warehouse or delivery experience
  • A full, clean UK driving licence (able to drive LWB/transit vans)
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Experience or understanding of stock control systems
  • The ability to lift and handle heavy materials safely
  • A methodical and detail-focused approach

Desirable (but not essential):

  • PAT testing certification
  • Manual handling training
