Salary: £28,083 per annum (reviewed annually in April)

Requirement: A driver with access to their own vehicle is essential due to the rural location of the nursery.

The Role:

  • We are seeking a confident and committed Level 3 qualified Room Leader to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of a nursery room and to support the wider leadership team.

The successful candidate will:

  • Lead, support and inspire a team of practitioners within the room
  • Ensure high-quality care, learning and development in line with EYFS
  • Maintain excellent standards of safeguarding, health and safety and compliance
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues
  • Plan engaging, child-led activities that promote curiosity and creativity
  • Support staff development through mentoring and positive leadership
  • Demonstrate a clear desire to progress within early years leadership
