Your Role as Senior Night Care Assistant

As the night shift leader, you’ll play a crucial role in the smooth running of the home. You’ll be overseeing a team of four dedicated care staff, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care is delivered consistently throughout the night. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and supervising the care team
  • Administering medication safely and efficiently
  • Completing and checking essential records: MAR/TMAR, daily logs, food & fluid charts, body maps, and more
  • Promoting best practices in safeguarding, infection control, moving & handling, and first aid
  • Providing hands-on care with kindness, dignity, and respect
