Senior Credit Controller
Location: West Norfolk
Salary: £33,000 + Bonus
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Credit Controller to join a growing and successful organisation based in West Norfolk.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive finance professional to take ownership of a varied ledger, build strong customer relationships and play a key role in maintaining healthy cash flow across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring records are accurate and up to date.
- Proactively chase outstanding payments via tele, email and written correspondence.
- Allocate and reconcile incoming payments.
- Monitor aged debt reports and identify potential risks.
- Resolve complex account queries and negotiate payment solutions.
- Maintain accurate account records and supporting documentation.
- Prepare account reports and updates for internal stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Support general finance administration, including reconciliations and invoicing.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the efficiency of the credit control function.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience in credit control, accounts receivable or a similar finance role.
- Experience managing a sales ledger from start to finish.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- The confidence to manage difficult conversations professionally.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- A proactive and commercially minded approach.
- Good Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
