Are you an experienced and ambitious Registered Manager looking to lead a high-quality children’s home and make a real impact?
We are recruiting for an established 4-bed children’s residential home in Camden, rated Good by Ofsted, and entering an exciting phase of development. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident, values-driven leader who wants the autonomy to run a home well, with the support of a committed senior leadership team.
The Role
As Registered Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day leadership and management of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance. You will create a safe, nurturing, and aspirational environment where children and staff can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the daily operations of the children’s home
Recruit, develop, and motivate a stable and skilled staff team
Deliver high-quality, person-centred and trauma-informed care
Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding standards
Drive continuous improvement and prepare for inspections
Promote positive outcomes for children and young people
Requirements
Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a management or deputy management role within children’s residential care
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or working towards)
Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and quality standards
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
A resilient, child-focused approach with a genuine passion for improving lives
