We are currently recruiting on behalf of a reputable charitable trust for a dedicated and compassionate Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Practitioner to join their team in Preston. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a values-driven organisation committed to improving the lives of children and young people.

Position Details:

  • Location: Preston (with travel across the local area)
  • Salary: £26,363 to £28,325 per annum
  • Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hrs per week (including travel time)
  • Requirements: Must be a driver with access to a car (mileage expenses paid)

About the Role:

Our client is seeking an individual who is passionate about supporting children and young people to achieve positive outcomes. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families, carers, and professionals to deliver tailored Positive Behaviour Support plans and promote overall wellbeing.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children and young people, ideally within children’s services, education, or a similar setting
  • A strong understanding of behaviour support approaches (or willingness to develop in this area)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A proactive, empathetic, and person-centred approach

Training & Development:

If you do not already hold a BTEC Level 4 in Positive Behaviour Support, our client will enrol you onto this course and provide full support throughout your studies while you work. Upon successful completion, your salary will increase to £28,325 per annum.
