Help Build an Outstanding Children's Residential Service
We are seeking an experienced Responsible Individual (RI) to support the launch and growth of our first specialist solo children's home, with plans to expand to around 10 homes over the next 12 months.
Our vision is to create safe, stable and high-quality homes for children with complex needs, ensuring every child feels valued, supported and protected.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organisation at the beginning of its journey and play a key role in shaping services that make a real difference.
About the Role
As Responsible Individual, you will provide strategic oversight of our children's homes, ensuring excellent safeguarding, regulatory compliance and quality standards across all services.
You will work closely with Directors, Registered Managers, Ofsted, local authorities and commissioning teams to support the successful registration, development and operation of specialist solo homes.
What We're Looking For
- Significant experience overseeing children's residential homes
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and compliance
- Proven track record of Good or Outstanding services
- Experience supporting children with complex or high-risk needs
- Experience opening and registering new children's homes
- Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification (or equivalent)
- Excellent safeguarding, leadership and communication skills
