KPI Recruiting are seeking an experienced and reliable Flexi/Bendi Forklift Driver to join a busy warehouse operation in Byley. This is a dual-role position, with approximately 50% of time spent operating forklift trucks and 50% supporting general warehouse duties. The site handles goods within the chemical, food, and pharmaceutical sectors, so attention to detail and adherence to safety standards are essential.

The days and hours as a Flexi/Bendi Forklift Driver are: 5 out of 7 days, 8-10 hour shifts.

The rate of pay as a Flexi/Bendi Forklift Driver is: £13.74p/h.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Forklift Operations (50%):
    • Safely load and unload goods from delivery vehicles using Flexi/Bendi, Counterbalance, or Reach trucks.
    • Transport and store palletised stock within high-level racking and designated storage areas.
    • Carry out daily pre-use safety checks and basic maintenance of FLT equipment.
    • Ensure all movements comply with site health and safety regulations.
  • Warehouse Operations (50%):
    • Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
    • Process goods-in deliveries, including scanning documentation and verifying stock.
    • Assist with inventory control, including stock counts and reconciliation.
    • Maintain high standards of housekeeping across warehouse and yard areas.
Requirements:
  • Valid and in-date Flexi/Bendi forklift licence (essential).
  • Previous warehouse experience, ideally within chemical, food, or pharmaceutical environments.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety practices.
