We are recruiting on behalf of a children’s residential care provider for a Registered Children’s Home Manager to lead a regulated children’s home delivering high‑quality, trauma‑informed care.

Full-Time | Permanent

Salary: Competitive (55k – 65k)

Location: Altringham, UK

This is an ideal opportunity for an Ofsted Registered Manager or an experienced Deputy Manager ready to step up, with strong safeguarding knowledge and leadership capability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Registered Manager responsibility for a Children’s Residential Home
  • Ensure full compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards
  • Lead, manage, and develop a residential care staff team
  • Deliver high‑quality, child‑centred, trauma‑informed care (including PACE)
  • Act as safeguarding lead, managing risk assessments and behaviour support plans
  • Liaise with Ofsted, Local Authorities, social workers, and external professionals
  • Manage staffing levels, rotas, budgets, and the home environment
  • Oversee inspections, audits, and regulatory reporting
Essential Requirements
  • Experience as a Registered Children’s Home Manager or Deputy Manager
  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding practice
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent / working towards)
  • Proven leadership and people‑management skills
  • Ability to work flexibly, including on‑call duties
