Lead a Specialist Children's Home and Make a Real Difference
We are seeking an experienced and confident Registered Manager to lead our first specialist solo children's home, supporting young people with complex and high-risk needs. This is a unique opportunity to join an ambitious organisation at the beginning of its journey, helping to create safe, stable and high-quality homes where children can thrive.
About the Role
As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of a specialist solo home, ensuring outstanding care, safeguarding and regulatory compliance at all times. You will play a key role in establishing the service, leading the home through Ofsted registration and inspection, and developing a highly skilled team capable of supporting young people with complex needs, including those subject to court-authorised restrictions or Deprivation of Liberty (DoL) arrangements.
What We're Looking For
- Experience managing or deputising within a children's residential home
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, risk management and Ofsted regulations
- Experience supporting children with complex or high-risk needs
- Ability to lead, motivate and develop an exceptional staff team
- Experience managing regulatory compliance and quality standards
- Confidence leading a home through Ofsted registration and inspections
- Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification, or willingness to work towards it
- Passion for delivering outstanding outcomes for children and young people
