We're working with a range of welcoming primary, secondary and SEND schools across Huddersfield who are looking for dedicated Teaching Assistants to support pupils both in and out of the classroom. The Role

  • Support pupils with their learning and development
  • Work alongside teachers to create an engaging classroom environment
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support where needed
  • Help pupils build confidence, independence and resilience

What We're Looking For

  • Experience working with children or young people, either in schools or other settings
  • A patient, positive and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • The ability to adapt to different classroom environments
  • A genuine passion for supporting children's education and wellbeing

Desirable Experience

  • Experience supporting pupils with:
    • Autism (ASC)
    • ADHD
    • Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
    • Speech and Language difficulties
    • Additional learning needs
