Salary: £500 – £650 per week

Have you achieved a 2:1 or above in Psychology or a core academic subject such as English, Mathematics, Science or Humanities? KPI Education is partnering with a successful and inclusive secondary school in Hindhead, Surrey to recruit an outstanding Graduate Learning Support Assistant for September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience before teacher training or postgraduate study.

Working alongside experienced teachers and an established SEN team, you will support students across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

The Role

  • Deliver 1:1 and small-group academic interventions.
  • Support students with SEND, including ASD, ADHD and dyslexia.
  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging, accessible lessons.
  • Adapt learning resources to meet individual student needs.
  • Promote confidence, resilience and independent learning.
  • Help maintain a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
  • Provide pastoral support and act as a positive role model within the school.
  • Work closely with teachers, SEN staff and pastoral teams to support individual students.

Person Specification

  • A minimum 2:1 Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a core academic subject such as English, Mathematics, Science or Humanities.
  • A genuine passion for education and supporting young people.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, resilience and a proactive approach.
  • The ability to build strong relationships with students and colleagues.
  • A professional and positive attitude.
  • Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential.
